Background: Jaime started her career as an elementary science teacher. She has always had a love for science and learning through experiences so teaching science was a perfect fit. After 12 years in the classroom, she had the opportunity to help develop curriculum when Stone Canyon first opened. Once she was a part of the experience, she knew that outdoor education was the place for her. In her downtime, you will find Jaime sharing the outdoors with her son and going along for what ever new adventure he wants to explore that day.
Kim Wolfrum, Head chef
Hometown: Randle, WA
Background: Kim grew up with the outdoors and camping as two of her passions. Her family has always worked in food service and she proudly followed in their footsteps. In college, she worked as a food service supervisor. Kim also had the pleasure to work food service with the Seattle Seahawks training camp for two years. Kim has been working for Douglas County School District for 13 years in which she has held various positions, including kitchen manager, district catering manager, and now the Head Chef at Stone Canyon. Kim is looking forward to expanding the potential of the camp with new and exciting classes and adding corporate events to the program.
Bonnie Diamond, ASSISTANT Chef
Hometown: Larkspur, CO
Background: Bonnie began her culinary journey in the Washington D.C. area. Her diverse community enabled her to learn about many different ethnic dishes, as well as the local seafood. Her travels soon took her to Italy, where she took an extensive three week cooking course with an emphasis on Northern Italian cuisine. She went on to instruct for Williams-Sonoma and Safeway stores in Colorado. Bonnie has been at Stone Canyon for the last two years and is looking forward to teaching culinary arts, etiquette to young people, as well as helping create the new corporate retreat center. Her passion is cooking and teaching others about the joys and comfort good food can bring.
Todd Dupree, Site Manager
Hometown: Larkspur, CO
Background: Todd was born in Titusville, FL and moved to Colorado in 1985. After serving four years in the US Navy on two ships he returned to Colorado. Todd then spent 20 years as an electrician before joining the Douglas County School District in 2011. He joined Stone Canyon in 2015 and enjoys supporting the vision of the team.
Chelsea Kyffin, Lead Instructor
Hometown: San Jose, CA
Education: BS Biology - University of Redlands
Background: While pursuing her degree in Biology, Chelsea found a passion for the outdoors while exploring all that southern California has to offer. After graduating, she knew that a desk job would not suffice and has since been traveling around the country working in outdoor education and recreation. Chelsea began working at Stone Canyon in 2015 and is now happy to call Colorado home. She is currently pursuing a teaching degree and spends her free time hiking, climbing, or finding a rare moment to sit at home and read a book.
Alex dolianitis, Lead Instructor

Education: BS Recreation Management - Appalachian State University
Background: Alex's love for the outdoors began as a young adult and sparked a passion for outdoor education. His educational and professional background in education, leadership, and ropes course programs led him all over the country and now here to Stone Canyon. He is excited to be a part of budding outdoor education program located in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Education: BA History - University of Georgia
Background: Molly decided long ago she wanted to be a teacher. During her senior year of college, she learned about the outdoor education field and knew she had to become a part of it, so she moved to Colorado to give it a try. She's always loved working with children and spent many summers as a camp counselor enjoying the time spent in the hills of Tennessee. When she's not teaching kids at outdoor ed, she can be found hiking, skiing, reading, or hanging out with her family.

Background: Before coming to Stone Canyon, Cody spent time working as a raft guide and whitewater canoe instructor for the Boy Scouts of America. Cody possesses a passion for teaching ethics of the outdoors in backcountry settings. In his free time, he is found canoeing, slacklining, cycling, or playing music with friends.

Background: Ever since Malinda was a kid she always spent time outside! Her parents exposed her to backpacking, hiking, and camping at a young age and it instilled a love for the outdoors and what nature had to offer. After graduating she knew she wanted a job in the outdoor industry that allowed her to spend time outside in nature. Malinda believes it's imperative that kids be exposed to the outdoors at a young age so they know if it's something they enjoy too. Being a Program Instructor is perfect for her because it allows her to show children why nature is so important and enjoyable. She loves when children become passionate about the same things that she is passionate about, and she can see it every single day working at Stone Canyon!

Education: BA Environmental Studies - Southwestern University
Background: After graduating in 2016, Kron decided he had enough of the lazy, hot, hill country summer and decided to move up to Colorado in order to gain valuable teaching experience over the fall season. In his free-time you can find him driving around and fly-fishing different spots up, down, and around the Rockies. He plans to use the skills and experience gained at Stone Canyon in order to apply for the JET program and hopefully ship out in mid-2017.

Background: Mica's story begins across a little pond called the Atlantic Ocean in the small country of Moldova where she grew up playing on farms and running through the woods. Her families initial move to America brought her to the "everything's bigger" state of Texas. Here she gained an appreciation for city living and the many art museums open to the public, but she always felt that something was missing. After attending Southwestern University for 4 years she graduated and felt a pull towards Colorado, where outdoor adventures run aplenty. She now feels at home in this wonderful state and loves teaching children to appreciate nature. When she's not busy teaching the future leaders of America, Mica can be found roaming around museums, catching up on some HBO show, or hiking the many trails found here.

Background: Caitlin has always had a passion for the outdoors and science field. This passion lead her to pursue a degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology . She loves working not only in parks and recreation, but also outdoor education. What Caitlin loves about teaching is that students gain a love for the outdoors and a basic environmental background that they can take with them forever. In her free time she is a movie buff and loves to fish and hike.

Background: Brittany came to Stone Canyon from the great state of Maryland. She has spent the past five years working for wilderness-based youth development programs and loves anything and everything she can do in the outdoors. She grew up sailing competitively, but now Brittany spends most of her free time in the mountains backpacking or in the kitchen pursuing her love of cooking.
